These terms explain how Home Battery Scotland works. We are a consultancy and introducer, so we do not install equipment ourselves. Installations are carried out by our accredited partner, Home Heating Services (Scotland) Ltd, and any installation contract is between you and them. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything.

Our service
This website is operated by Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd, trading as Home Battery Scotland and Scottish Energy Efficiency. We are a renewable energy consultancy and introducer service. We do not carry out installations, surveys, or technical work ourselves. Installations are carried out by our accredited installation partner, Home Heating Services (Scotland) Ltd — MCS certified (IAA10151), TrustMark registered (3559930), Gas Safe registered (559575).
No contract for installation works
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract between you and Home Battery Scotland, Scottish Energy Efficiency, or Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd for installation works. Any contract is between you and the installation company that quotes for your project.
Accreditation
Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd does not itself hold MCS, TrustMark, or Gas Safe accreditation. These accreditations are held by our installation partner, Home Heating Services (Scotland) Ltd.
Information accuracy
Any figures or tariff examples on this site are general guidance only, based on typical Scottish energy use. Tariff rates change — verify them with your supplier. Actual results depend on your property, usage patterns, and tariff. Installer partners provide binding quotes following a site survey. Savings are not guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Caledonia Energy Efficiency Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website, your dealings with installation partners, or the works carried out by installation partners. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Scots law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
